St Patrick’s Day fever comes to Danby Lodge

There was a touch of St Patrick’s Day fever at Danby Lodge over the weekend.

A traditional three-course menu of white pudding, bacon and poached egg, slow-cooked Irish beef and Colannon potatoes, whiskey flavoured bread & butter pudding all served with a wee drop of the Irish whiskey and a stunning black velvet cocktail.

Staff and residents dressed up to enjoy the day and sing some old Irish songs and play music. A great day all round topped off with the rugby later. Living the dream Danby Lodge style!
